Who we are
This website, kolsltd.com, is run by Koperattiva Linen Service Socjeta' Limitata (KOLS), a co-operative society registered with the Malta Co-operatives Board (registration no. K058), c/o Mount Carmel Hospital, Triq l-Imdina, Attard ATD 9033, Malta. KOLS is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

Who else handles the information
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which delivers the pages and protects the site against attacks. Cloudflare acts as our processor under a data processing agreement and may process technical data outside the European Union under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The website is looked after for KOLS by its IT consultant, Proton IT Services. We do not sell personal information or share it with anyone for marketing.
We may share information with public authorities only when the law requires it.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and Malta's Data Protection Act (Cap. 586) you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information, or to limit how we use it;
- object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests;
- receive information you gave us in a portable format, where this applies.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will reply within one month. There is normally no charge.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so that we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to Malta's data protection authority, the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC), idpc.org.mt.
Security
The website is only available over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and it does not store any personal information itself.
